Event Description:
Join us Friday, November 7, 2025, at Houston Sports Park for an accessible sports field day for youth and adults who are blind or low vision as we bring together an estimated 500 participants for a full day of sports, games, and community at the Texas BVI Fall Field Fest! The morning kicks off with youth activities from 9:30 am–12:00 pm, followed by a community lunch from 11:00 am–1:30 pm. In the afternoon, adult activities run from 12:30–2:30 pm, featuring two dynamic fields of FUN:
Field 1: Introduction to Sports – Try your hand at Blind Soccer, Beep Baseball, Blind Tennis, and Blind Fencing, with more sports to come!
Field 2: Field Day Games – Classic competitions like Tug of War, Long Jump, Ball Toss, Running with Tethers, and other adaptive favorites.
With cooling and rest stations under the tents, this event is designed for connection, challenge, and celebration.
