The Lighthouse will be hosting a weekly Braille Club to help people learn functional Braille skills in a friendly group setting. The club meets every Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
We will use fun games and activities to help everyone gain useful skills for daily life. Members will learn how to read playing cards for games, label items around their homes, and read signs and elevator buttons in public places.
To join the club, participants need access to email and a notebook to keep their handout papers organized.
Because the group learns new things every week, it is highly recommended to attend each session so you do not miss out on any important tips.
